FAA artists can sign up for a store and\nbegin uploading images for sale. You can upload your own profile picture and\nadd a biography. The free account allows you to print on wall art and home\nd\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re allowed 25 different images on your\nFAA store. 24 hours after you\u2019ve uploaded some of your work, your art is integrated\ninto Fine Art America\u2019s online marketplace with hundreds of thousands of other\nartists. Your art gets grouped into categories like \u2018celebrity canvas prints\u2019\nor \u2018floral tapestries\u2019 for customers to browse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each product on Fine Art America has a base price that can be marked up by the artist. Once you\u2019ve set that price, FAA adds its own markup, as well as a fee for the cost of materials. The final price your customer sees is the base price + artist\u2019s markup + FAA\u2019s markup + FAA\u2019s cost of materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a small fee, you can upgrade to a\npremium account, which offers email marketing tools, an unlimited amount of\ndesign uploads, and your own personal website. You\u2019re allowed to print on their\nfull range of 30+ products as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artists at FAA get paid via PayPal. If\nyou\u2019re based in the US, you can opt to receive a check instead. Artists get\npaid on the 15th<\/sup> of each month, but due to FAA\u2019s 30-day return\npolicy, the payment includes all orders placed before the 15th<\/sup> of\nthe previous month. They provide an example on their site: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An order placed on October 14th<\/sup>\ngets included in the payment for November 15th<\/sup>. However, if the\norder is placed on October 17th<\/sup>, you get paid for it on December 15th<\/sup>.\n<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
